HELLO again! Sorry it has been a long time since we have updated. Things were sort of crazy there for a while. But we are back and will resume posting regularly again! Last week Christina, Todd, & I tried out a newer restaurant in the town we grew up in (Washington Township, NJ). Washington Township does not have many restaurants at all so we were excited that there was a new restaurant that looked pretty good! The name of the restaurant is Arugula. We ended up really enjoying our dinner and we will definitely be back again. The service and food were both great!
Arugula Restaurant
373 Egg Harbor Road
Sewell, NJ 08080

When we sat down, we were brought a large basket of bread and a blend of Roasted Red Peppers and Olive Oil. We all ordered the Misto Salad to start.
Misto Salad- Baby Greens, Gorgonzola Dolce, Caramelized Walnuts, Dried Cherries, and a Honey-Balsamic Dressing
The salads were the perfect size and we all enjoyed it. For our entrees, we each ordered a pasta dish.
Pappardelle Bolognese- Ground Veal with Chianti and Mascarpone Cheese tossed with House Made Chestnut Flour Pappardelle and Shaved Parmigiano Reggiano
Capellini and Crab- Colossal Crab Meat in a Blush Wine Sauce with Basil, Garlic, and Imported Plum Tomatoes over House Made Capellini
Gnocchi- House Made Potato Gnocchi in a Mushroom Ragu with Pancetta, and Shaved Ricotta Salata
We enjoyed each of these dishes and did not leave a morsel on our plates! I am happy to report that finally Washington Township has a GREAT restaurant! We can’t wait to go back!
