Terrain at Styer’s Cafe is a fantastic restaurant. During the week, they serve both lunch and dinner. On the weekends, they serve brunch and dinner. I have been to Terrain at Styer’s Cafe a couple of times for both dinner and brunch. Each time, I really enjoyed my meal. They change their menus according to the seasons since most of their ingredients comes from local farmers. I first went here with my boyfriend Todd. He passes by this restaurant on his way to work everyday. Terrain at Styer’s is not just a cafe…it is also a store that sells lots of different plants, flowers, pumpkins, fruits, books, cookbooks, soaps, candles, EVERYTHING. It’s a really cool place.
I absolutely love the atmosphere of the restaurant. The cafe is located inside a greenhouse. The ground used to be dirt but now they put a flooring in. Christina & I recently visited the Cafe for dinner…

At every meal, they bring the table a complimentary bread pot. They bake the bread and serve it right in the pot. This bread is chewy and delicious. They also serve the bread with a flavored butter topped with sea salt. In the past, I have really enjoyed their Lavender Butter, but tonight they served a Sage flavored butter…which was also really delicious.
We both began our meals with the Baby Field Greens with candied cranberries, spiced walnuts, goat cheese, apple honey vinaigrette.
Christina ordered the House Made Whole Wheat Pappardelle with tomato, spinach, & cauliflower in a goat cheese sauce.
I ordered the Local Organic Chicken with apple fennel puree, fingerlings, cauliflower, root vegetables, apple cider jus.
I really enjoyed this chicken. I haven’t really ordered chicken in a restaurant in a while, but this chicken was really moist, flavorful, and delicious. The size of the meal was perfect too and had just the right amount of chicken and vegetables.
When we went out to eat we were on a sugar overload from eating all of the christmas cookies we had baked, so needless to say, we did not order dessert. Although, their dessert is really delicious.
I also have some pictures that you can take a peak at from when I went with Todd for brunch last Fall.
