This past Saturday I graduated from Loyola University in Maryland. I cannot believe how fast 4 years went. When everyone told me that college will be the “best four years of your life” I didnt believe them. But it truly has…so far anyway; I am sure (or I hope!) that I have some great years still to come! I am sad to leave Loyola and all of the amazing memories behind. I am going to miss all of my friends…of course I will stay in contact with the people I am close to but it definitely won’t be the same not seeing them everyday! Oh well…I guess that is life. Time to move on to the next chapter. Which is Physician Assistant school….starts up on June 8th (goodbye summer!). I am excited for it…and very nervous. Next week Mary and I move in Manayunk together and I cannot wait!! Lots of changes in my life in such a short period of time…it is pretty overwhelming!
Anyway…this past Friday was the Baccalaureate mass for my school. After Mass we went to a French restaurant in Baltimore called Petit Louis Bistro. We all enjoyed our dinners very much. The food was great and the staff was very friendly. I wouldnt say this place was the best restaurant in Baltimore or anything but it was really good and I would definitely recommend checking it out if you are visiting or live in the area! Good food, nice atmosphere, and good company made for a really nice night! The next day (saturday), I graduated and went back home to have dinner with my Mommom, Poppop, Aunt Dottie, Uncle Art and my family. I didn’t take photos of Saturday night’s dinner but I did take photos of Petit Louis! So I will give you a review on the restaurant…plus some photos of the weekend! Enjoy

While waiting to be seated, we sat by the bar and ordered some wine, bread and cheeses…delicious!
Here is a sampling of things that we ordered (some of items I left out of this blog post- just because the post was getting too long!!)
SOUPE à L’OIGNON GRATINÉE Louis’ Famous Onion Soup.
VELOUTÉ de CAROTTE Carrot Soup with Cumin, Crème Fraîche
POULET à L’ESTRAGON (serves two) Whole Roasted Chicken, Pommes Frites
Pommes Frites aka FRENCH FRIES!
SAUMON GRILLÉ Grilled Salmon, Sorrel Vin Blanc, Pommes Pailles
Pot du creme: basically a type of chocolate mousse (heaven in my mouth!)
A picture of my family! Danielle couldnt make mass or graduation because she had to coach our high school’s crew team at the Stotesbury Cup Regatta- but she came for dinner that night! So happy to be all together
