Whipped Ricotta Banana Oatmeal

Yes that’s right…ricotta cheese and oatmeal! This sounds like a strange combo…but dont hate until you try, my friends!  The ricotta and whipped banana make the oatmeal so creamy and delicioussss yum!!!  Plus, it’s a great way to get rid of some extra ricotta cheese in the fridge!
Ingredients
  • 1/3 C oats
  • 2/3 C water
  • 1/2 T chia seeds
  • sliced banana (added at the beginning- and whipped with a wooden spoon while cooking)
  • 1/4 c ricotta cheese (added in at the end)
  • cinnamon
  • vanilla
  • Almond Butter to top

Directions

Add the oats, water, chia cheese, sliced banana, cinnamon and vanilla to a pot.  Cook until the oatmeal is pretty much done.  At the very end of cooking, add the ricotta cheese, stir, and take off the burner.  top with Almond Butter and enjoy!
