Our “Classic” Pasta Dish

Many people do not find the combination of spinach/broccoli with red sauce appealing…but we beg to differ.  This is hands down our favorite “go to” pasta dish.  LOVE IT.  The spinach and broccoli are not only delicious in this dish, but they also add a great boost of nutrition!

Cook the pasta of your choice (we like whole wheat linguine) according to the packaged directions.  Right before the pasta is finished cooking add the broccoli in the boiling water.  Place spinach in the colander and drain your pasta (this will wilt the spinach!).  Put everything back into the pot and add pasta sauce.  Top your dish with parmesan cheese and enjoy!
