Turkey/Chicken Meatballs
These meatballs are very easy to make and are much healthier for you than your typical meatball. We came up with this recipe based off my mom’s classic recipe for beef meatballs. Both versions (chicken and Turkey) are delicious!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. Ground Chicken or Turkey Breast
- ~2 handfuls grated parmesan cheese
- ~2 handfuls breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- salt & pepper
- little milk depending on consistency
- minced garlic
- *optional- dried parsley/basil
Directions:
Place the ground meat in a big bowl and add ingredients. Mix until incorporated making sure not to overmix. Form into balls and place on baking sheet. Drizzle olive oil over the meatballs and bake in a 400 degree oven until cooked through; approximately 20 minutes depending on the size of your meatballs.
Alternatively, you may cook the meatballs on the stovetop in a pan with olive oil.
