Capogiro

Capogiro is a gelato place in philly “devoted to using local hand picked produce and milk from grass-fred, hormone-free cows, drawing from Pennsylvania’s rich farming history, so that the most fresh, natural and seasonal ingredients reach their patron’s discriminating palates”. Capogiro has the typical flavors of gelato but also offers their customers unique flavors (the last time I was there they even had avocado as a flavor!).  They make their 27 flavors of gelato fresh DAILY.

Capogiro has several locations in Philly including in midtown village, rittenhouse square, university city, and Passyunk Scoop Shop.

Capogiro is delicious!!!!  It is definitely the best gelato place that I know of (well…besides in Italy of course).  If you are in philly, definitely give this place a try!  and best of all…the staff encourages people to try as many flavors as you want before deciding what to order!
