Steve and Cookies is by far our favorite restaurant at the shore. Although it’s hard to name our favorite restaurants of all time, we can say that Steve and Cookies holds a place near the top of that list. Steve and Cookies is opened year round. They keep busy through the winter months and you can probably squeeze in without a reservation, especially during the week. However, in the summer, expect to wait a long time if you do not have a reservation. Their menu is fairly simple and they strive to use fresh, local ingredients including seafood and produce. In the summer months, some of their featured meals include Whole Steamed Maine lobster and their famous Jersey blueberry pie. Their Jersey Pie recipe is a big secret that locals have been trying to recreate (we’ve come pretty close too!). Our favorite dish to order at Steve and Cookies is their Jumbo Lump Crabmeat with Linguini in a sauce with plum tomatoes, garlic, and basil. You really can’t go wrong at this restaurant. Everything is excellent–including their drink selections, bread, appetizers, salads, pastas, entrees, and desserts. The restaurants is also ran extremely well and Cookie (the owner) will always give you good service.
